The 12th All China–International Wire & Cable Industry Trade Fair (wire China 2026) concluded at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre on September 24, 2026. During the four-day exhibition, Novocrane showcased its NCH and NWH series electric hoists, presenting lifting solutions for different working conditions across the wire and cable production process.
Wire and cable manufacturers face a range of practical lifting challenges. Finished cable reels weighing several tonnes require frequent handling, while maintenance on wire drawing and stranding equipment demands precise positioning. Load capacity, headroom and control requirements also vary between production stages.
With limited workshop space and continuous production schedules, reliable lifting equipment is essential to maintaining production line uptime. Unplanned stoppages can disrupt production and delay order delivery, increasing the need for lifting solutions that combine precision, flexibility and dependable operation.
NCH Series Electric Chain Hoists
Compact, lightweight and quiet in operation, the NCH series is well suited to frequent lifting along production lines, equipment maintenance and precise mould installation. Its accessible maintenance design and reliable performance help reduce downtime caused by equipment faults.
NWH Series Electric Wire Rope Hoists
The NWH series supports heavy-duty handling of large cable reels. Its lightweight structure and low-headroom design make efficient use of available workshop space, while smooth operation with minimal sway supports stable load handling. A long service life also helps lower operating costs over the equipment’s life cycle. In 2025, the series received a “Superior Grade” product quality certification.
Novocrane’s technical service team was on site throughout the exhibition, meeting representatives of wire and cable manufacturers from across China. By listening to their workshop requirements and reviewing production layouts and processes, the team provided individual product selection advice and held in-depth discussions on application needs.
